Thank you to everyone who attend the Parent Preview and Ice Cream Social. Our first Booster meeting will be Tuesday, September 5th at 7:00pm in the band hall. We will be discussing upcoming events, fund raisers and reward trip. We have a few spots left for volunteers for the concessions and Friday Feeds. The Friday night concession stand is the Booster’s biggest fund raiser. Thank you to all who have already signed up! You will receive a ‘reminder’ email before your day to work. The Friday Feed is looking good as well. Listed below are some times that need filling.

Certain events on our Charms calendar are now public! Including our Band camp dates and times, please look into these and spread the word everyone! Letters with the show music, calendar, among other things will be heading your way next week! Please start looking at your music as soon as you get it.
Auditions for the 2017-2018 Mighty Tomcat Drumline will be this Saturday May 13, 9:00am-12:00pm in the Band Hall. There will be mandatory workshops on Wednesday May 10 and Friday May 12 beginning right after school and ending around 5:30pm. Music has already been passed out to students.
Looking forward to hearing some awesome rhythms and grooves in the Fall!
The Tom Bean Middle and High School Bands will putting on their Spring Concert on Thursday, May 11 at 7:00pm in the Tom Bean Middle School Cafeteria. The students will be performing some of their UIL/Festival pieces along with a movie classic each.
Come out and support all of these great band students!
The next Band Booster meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 7:00pm in the band hall. We will make final preparations for the Band Banquet (May 6th). Also, parents of seniors, Monday, May 1st is the deadline for scholarship submission. This is the last booster meeting of the school year. We hope to elect officers, recap the year, and make some plans for the summer/fall. Parent participation is vital in the success of a booster club. Please join us and spread the word to other band parents (eighth grade parents as well)! We look forward to seeing you there!
The next Band Booster meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 7:00pm in the band hall. We will review the Spaghetti Dinner and Auction and look at what is happening this winter/spring.

Just a reminder that our concert and spaghetti dinner is December 10th from 5:00-8:00pm at the High School Cafeteria. Jazz Band @ 5:30, other groups @6:30. Tickets for the dinner can be purchased from any HS Band student. Proceeds go directly toward their spring trip. Concert admission is free! Hope to see you there!
We have two more football games. One home (this Friday) and one away game at Bells next week. If you have not worked the concession stand and would like to, Friday is you opportunity! Just respond to this email and show up at the concession stand at 6:00pm Friday! We could use a couple of extra hands.

October 29th, this Saturday is the Fall Festival at the Elementary School. The band is hosting a booth there.
November 1st, Booster Meeting in the Band hall at 7:00pm. We will be discussing and planning the Fajita Dinner and Auction.
December 6th, Booster Meeting in the Band hall at 7:00pm. Finalizing for the Fajita Dinner and Auction.
